Have I mentioned I love working with felt (as exemplified by
here and
here)? Over the weekend I decided to add a new felt biscuit to my collection that Australian home baked favourite, the jam drop. So I made one, then a second, then a third and finally a fourth, but of the miniature kind:)
Yes, I couldn't resist adding it to both my felt play food collection and my growing felt biscuit brooch collection. Do you think there is a way I could wear all four at the same time?
Hope you got a chance to work on something new this week. Be sure to visit

So cute!!! Maybe you could make four super mini versions and stitch them together in a row and then wear that as one brooch? LOL. :)
ReplyDeleteOoh those jam drops just took me straight back to my childhood! Yum! These are so lovely!
ReplyDeleteWow, you are getting a scrummy collection of biscuits happening.....
ReplyDeleteYour jam drop looks so yummy, but the Iced Vo Vo is still my favourite...Is there a Tim Tam in the works? Maybe with a bite out of one corner to reveal the filling!
Could you wear them all together, hmmm, maybe make a nice plate to pop them on.But I think it might be a little too big. Maybe you could make them in miniature size put them on a 'plate' and wear them.

when I first saw the pic I thought they were real! They look so good and so edible! Well done!
ReplyDeleteLove these biccies! The detail on them is amazing - it's the pavlova in your link that has really made my mouth water, hehe! So beautifully made :)
ReplyDeleteThey look like one of my favourite biscuits here - Jammy Dodgers! Lovely!!
ReplyDeleteOhmygoodness! The jam drop brooch is scrumptious in every sense of the word. I have already envisaged wearing my Iced Vovo brooch alongside a jam drop and one other... just deciding on the other! xx
ReplyDeleteHmmm if it wasn't so late right now I would go in search of a biscuit to nibble on. Great job as usual. xx
